Lately, low carb diets (keto diet) have become an incredibly popular way to lose weight, and regain your health. Lowering your intake of carbohydrates can have a great effect on weight loss, migraine relief, improved sleeping, mental clarity, lower inflammation, etc. BUT there’s a problem with following the Keto or a super low carb. diet.

The problem is that for most people this isn’t sustainable. It’s a “diet” and not a lifestyle. They feel deprived and super limited with what they can eat so they stick with it for a bit but then go off and put all the weight back on.

The other problem when eating under the Keto guidelines is that you can eat as much fat as you want. Like carbs, not all fats are created equal, some are good and some aren’t.  A friend of mine was following the Keto Diet and was losing weight but when he went for a check up the doctor told him his cholesterol (the bad kind) has skyrocketed and he was a prime candidate for a heart attack. 

Yes, he lost weight but it came at a cost to his health. 

So you have to ask yourself - do I only care about the scale or do I can about my longterm health?  

Here’s the difference between Faithful Workouts and many other diet plans: we don’t try to provide you with another quick-fix or fad diet. If you look up the word diet, it actually comes from the Latin word diaeta which means “way of life”.  A “diet” should not be a quick fix but a way of life! We can’t continue to approach our eating habits as something that we can change for a few weeks, then revert back to old habits and expect to maintain our results. 

That’s why our nutritional plans and recipes are all based on one simple fact- God created our bodies and God created food, so eat what God created in its most natural state.

Our recipes are about giving your body the fuel it needs so you can have strength and energy. Our recipes are also about helping you reach a healthy weigh, but our menu plans are also sustainable. You won’t leave this meal plan feeling hungry, irritable, or frustrated. Our hope and prayer is you will choose to break free from the diet fads promising quick results and approach your health journey focused on nourishing your body with real, whole foods so your body is energized and you can live fully and serve others!

Menu Plan with Grocery Lists/Online Cookbook: One of Michelle’s passions in life is cooking! She loves to whip up quick, delicious and, of course, healthy meals! Our daily menu plans (complete with grocery lists) are put in place to help you start to eat healthy again, and our cooking videos and recipes are a great way to learn what’s really nutritious, and to help you start expanding your own cooking comfort zone.

Workouts: Kickboxing, Tabata, HIIT (high intensity interval training), Stretching, Core PAZAZ…and loads of new Total Body Workouts for ALL fitness levels. No matter where you’re starting at, we have workouts that will challenge you and leave you feeling proud and accomplished! While working out you’ll be motivated through the upbeat, Christian music. We want to set you up for success so the first 14 days we will walk closely by your side giving you a structured program to help you establish healthy habits! You will be motivated to get fit physically & spiritually.

40 Day Bible Reading Plan: If you want to read your Bible but aren’t quite sure where to begin, this Reading Plan makes it easy to dive in and get started. Each day you click on the link and you will be connected to a chapter in your online Bible. We believe that lasting, healthy transformation starts from the inside out. Nothing will change you more then the Word of God!

Facebook Group: Our Facebook Group is a community of people on the same health journey as you. It’s a place where you can come and be encouraged, be held accountable, and ask questions of others on the same health journey as you.
