What is Faithful Workouts?

Hi there! I’m Michelle, the founder of Faithful Workouts. Thank you for allowing us to help you take steps toward a healthier lifestyle. Now, let’s get you acquainted with Faithful Workouts!

Let’s start at the beginning. I may not know you, but I want you to know I truly care about you. The reason I founded Faithful Workouts’ was because I wanted to help people break free from fitness frustration and discover how it feels to be strong, energized and healthy.

At Faithful Workouts we aren’t overly concerned with how much you can lose in 30 days because we are more concerned with teaching you to make healthy changes that last a lifetime. We focus on health over quick weight loss. We focus more on what you gain than on what you lose.

We hope you gain: 

  •     freedom from unhealthy habits
  •     strength and energy
  •     confidence, hope and understanding in how much God loves you 

I spent years struggling to get and stay healthy. I loved living a healthy lifestyle, but it was exhausting and time consuming to keep up with the best exercise plans and healthy recipes. I was getting workout tips from one place and healthy menus from another. When it came to my faith, I wanted a community who would help me grow closer to God. 

In 2009, I decided to put my 30+ years in fitness to use and created Faithful Workouts as way to combine faith, fitness and food all in one place. Since then, Faithful Workouts has grown into a community of thousands of people all over the world, who, like you, want to live healthier lives.  

At its core, Faithful Workouts exists to get you physically and spiritually fit. We offer safe, effective, total body workout programs, healthy recipes and meal plans, and  inspirational messages of faith, hope, and love. Our workouts are upbeat, fun, and motivational. You will never hear us yell, use shame as a tactic to get you to work harder, or judge you for your level of fitness. We are in this together, and your value does not come from how easily you can do an exercise or stick to a meal plan. We are more interested in what you gain in confidence, faith, and community than what you lose in pounds. 

With that said, we work hard to give you tools to help you do more physically and go deeper spiritually. Over time, you will have more energy to do the things you love and be equipped with all you need to thrive in any situation.

About Michelle

I’m excited to welcome you to Faithful Workouts! Since we will be working out together, I think we should get to know each other!

 As for myself, I grew up in the Chicago area and went to school at the University of Illinois where I graduated from in 1984 with a business degree. I married my husband, Jeff, in 1991, and soon after had 3 children: Denika, Neal, and Quinn. Currently, we live outside of beautiful Denver, Colorado!  Since graduating from college I have worked a number of jobs, but I always taught exercise classes after hours. I’ve always been passionate about fitness and health and in 2008 I felt like God was asking me to move away from my corporate event-planning job and go full-time into fitness. All I can say is “Thank you God!”

His nudging to start Faithful Workouts has brought so much joy, purpose, and fun! Starting Faithful Workouts was a dream come true. I feel unbelievably blessed to be able to do what I do, and I simply cannot thank you enough for being apart of it.

Being able to share exercise, food tips, motivation, and God’s love with each of you is not something I take lightly and I promise you will always get my best. Thank you again.
