Fuel:

  • Don’t forget to keep nutritious food at hand - pack a snack!
  • Always bring a healthy snack with you when you leave the house
  • You can still enjoy some of your not so healthy favorite foods. Just enjoy them in moderation
  • .
  • Eat every 2 to 3 hours to keep you from overeating later 
  • Having trouble sticking to natural healthy foods? Team up with a close friend and hold each other accountable for eating healthy.
  • Remember always shop the perimeter of the grocery store. That’s where you will find the healthiest foods in their most natural form.
  • You should drink at least half your body weight of water in ounces everyday.
  • Bored of plain water? Add some of your favorite fruits and vegetable to your water to add flavor. Try lemons, limes, oranges, cucumbers, peaches or strawberries
  • Don’t feel guilty about snacking. Snacking is good! Just make sure your snacks are healthy. Healthy snack ideas: apples, almonds, peppers
  • Coffee, although it contains water, does not count toward your goal of 64 oz of water - Sorry!!

 

Fitness:

  • Don’t think you are going to just  find time to exercise. Make the time to exercise. 
  • Exercise equals endorphins and endorphins make you happy. Exercise does more than just make your body stronger. 
  • There are 1,440 minutes in a day. If you use at least 20 of those to workout you are making a big difference. 
  • Remember; don’t just go through the motions. Give it 100% and you’ll start seeing the changes. 
  • Set goals and stick to them. 
  • The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.

  • Exercising is a two way street. You get back exactly what you put in.

Faith:

  • Remember God knows what’s best. Trust him
  • Being physically fit is important but being  Spiritual fit is even more important!

  • You gain peace and calmness when you trust God. Never forget that.
